Christ to feature on Malta's euro coins
Malta has chosen the figure of Christ for its euro coins, officials announced, after a vote which reflected the overwhelmingly Roman Catholic island's strong Christian heritage.Full Article
The voters in a telephone poll to decide the design chose "The Baptism of Christ," a scupture by late baroque artist Giuseppe Mazzuoli which stands in the capital's St John's Cathedral.
What happened to:
Exodus 20:4-6 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
or
1 Timothy 6:10 10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
I don't mean for this blog to get religious, but this is hysterical.

Good to see someone paying attention! I disregarded it as most self professing "christians" tend to believe in the whole compilation known as the Bible, and the verse still shows some degree of ignorance. If anyone wonders what this is about, check the side bar link for "false apostle" or http://users.adelphia.net/~madthumbs/
I reminded you because of that link you put about Paul. Once you read the NT, it is silly to say Paul is a false apostle. It is hard to give your opinions any weight if you think paul was not who he said he was. If he was not, he would not have passed 2000 years of scrutiny.
